Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026. This policy explains how ANOMALY handles information when you use ufoanduapdisclosure.com and the ANOMALY Android app.
Operator
ANOMALY is operated by Eternal Kinship LLC. Privacy questions and deletion requests may be sent to privacy@ufoanduapdisclosure.com.
Information handled
- Account data: the platform account identifier used for sign-in, your public display name, profile visibility and messaging preferences, and membership status. The owner email is used only to identify the authorized administrator.
- Content you choose to provide: posts, comments, direct messages, questions, reports, profile text, business listings, saved research notes, tags, original media, captions, and opt-in directory settings.
- Billing references: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and subscription status. ANOMALY does not receive full payment-card numbers.
- Service data: rate-limit counters, moderation status, security events, and ordinary hosting logs such as request time, browser information, and IP address.
- On-device preferences: the disclaimer acknowledgement and motion preference are stored in your browser or app web storage.
How information is used
Information is used to provide accounts and community features, display content you publish, keep private research tied to your account, process memberships, prevent abuse, moderate reports, secure the service, and comply with lawful obligations.
Public and private areas
Community posts and comments are public. A social profile and its rights-confirmed media start private and become public only when the owner opts in. Direct messages are visible to their participants in the normal service interface, are not end-to-end encrypted, and may be retained by a recipient. Saved research notes are account-private and are not shown in the ordinary owner dashboard. Reports may be reviewed by the owner. Do not publish sensitive personal information.
Questions and AI drafts
Questions submitted through Ask ANOMALY enter an owner-only review queue. If the owner requests an AI draft, the question text is sent to the configured AI provider. The draft cannot publish itself and must be reviewed and explicitly published by the owner. Direct messages, private notes, and account profiles are not sent as part of that draft request.
Service providers and external links
Hosting and sign-in infrastructure process requests needed to operate ANOMALY. Stripe processes checkout and billing. National Weather Service data is retrieved when you request alerts. YouTube embeds load only when opened. OpenReel is an external editor and does not transfer a file automatically; you export and choose any later upload. Instagram, YouTube, government sources, Stripe, OpenReel, and other external destinations apply their own privacy policies when you visit them.
Retention and deletion
You may delete your posts, comments, media, business listing, and account content through the service where available. Active billing must be canceled before account-content removal. Account-content removal includes stored direct messages and questions associated with the account. Some minimal records may be retained where reasonably necessary for payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, or legal compliance. See the account deletion instructions.
Security
ANOMALY uses access controls, server-side authorization, upload validation, origin checks, and Stripe webhook verification. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send credentials, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or private addresses in community content.
Children
ANOMALY is not directed to children under 13. A person who has not reached the age required to consent to online services where they live should use ANOMALY only with a parent or guardian.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when appropriate, by providing an in-service notice. Continued use after a change is subject to the updated policy.
